Michael Keaton (born Michael Keaton) is an American actor who has worked as a director, producer and producer. He is most famous for the film 'Birdman. A versatile actor he is adept at playing comedic as well as dramatic parts. His professional career has seen him portray a couple of characters who are romantic, and he's appeared in some action thrillers. He began to take an interest in performing and acting when he was in his teens and attempted stand-up comedy while a young man. It wasn't a success, however it helped pave the way to his acting career. In order to succeed as a comedian and performer, he was hired working as a cameraman for a local cable television station. It was at this station was the first time he realized that the only thing he really wanted was to perform before cameras. After landing a role on TV, he starred in numerous episodes in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. So it was not a surprise he quickly became a popular TV actor. His comedic characters brought him fame and he began the career of a filmmaker who had high hopes. Additional recognition was received as he played Batman's own hero from Tim Burton's Batman. In time he grew up in the field of acting and then began doing productions and even directing films. For his role in Birdman (2014) He won numerous awards and nominations.
