Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is born in Romania and is a Romanian actor and TV host. She is best known for her role as the lead in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole daughter of Romanian actors Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered the show business at an early age and was performing lead roles in various television dramas by the time she was sixteen. Her fame was due to her portrayal on Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable role roles like Adolf's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this model. Alexandra was involved in many notable projects, in both the US and abroad. The British biographical movie Control, the Greek-language film The Dust of Time, and French historic mini-series Napoleon are just a few of those. Additionally, she was part of both the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
